Ryan's been an acquaintance since college when we both played on a record by friend and lovely folk songwriter Dave Potts.

I was thrilled to hear he was in L.A. & would play on Before We Land.

He has so much going for him: He'sone of the nicest guys you could meet, has one of the best afros you could imaging & makes ridiculously tasty sounds behind the drum kit.

Ryan Brown has appeared on recordings by Hannah Montana, Nick Lachey, Bo Bice, Clay Aiken, Jesse McCartney, actress Heather Graham, and the latest release by rock legends Foreigner. He plays all styles of music, including rock, R&B, jazz, ska, funk, blues, folk and country, and teaches students of all ages. A native of Denver, Colorado, Ryan graduated from Indiana University's School of Music and has played drums and percussion since he was eleven years old.
